Logistics & Life Support firms staff overseas base operations beyond LOGCAP alone. Roles include food service, facilities, transportation, warehousing and supply chain, on contingency and enduring bases.

Overlap with LOGCAP

The two tags overlap heavily. LOGCAP is one contract program. This category is the wider field of base-operations work. If your requirement is about running a base, check both pages.

What drives the hiring

  • The base type: contingency sites and enduring installations hire differently.
  • The contract's labor categories and location.
  • Whether the work needs a clearance or only a background check.

How to narrow

Use the region page for location, then compare firms on the countries they say they have staffed.

Checklist

  • [ ] Define the base type and the roles needed.
  • [ ] Check both this page and the LOGCAP page.
  • [ ] Ask which countries and bases the firm has supported.
  • [ ] Confirm background and medical requirements.
  • [ ] Ask how the firm handles rotation and replacement.
